Actually, I know what you mean. Being overly polite (or polite in general) just says to me that you are generally a wretched person who is trying to pass as someone who can contribute to society. It is as transparent as organized religion. I like people who have problems and show it...don't always expect me to help or sympathize, but at least I know you're real...
